Storage on your device
Your browser’s local storage keeps your playback preferences (bbc-prefs) so the player starts the way you like. Staff accounts also keep which admin tab was open. None of it leaves your device except as part of using the Sites.
Other companies
On the sign-in page, Google Sign-In may set its own cookies when you sign in with Google. Cloudflare, which protects the Sites, may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots. The Kinescope video player may use storage needed to play video. These are covered by those companies’ own policies.
Controlling cookies
You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the cookies above, you won’t be able to stay signed in. More about what we collect is in the Privacy Policy.
