These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and the Basement Boxing Club (“BBC”, “we”, “us”) for the use of bbcfight.com, BBC Fight Pass at fightpass.bbcfight.com, and everything on them (together, the “Sites”). By signing in to or using the Sites you agree to these Terms, the Content Notice and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Sites.
1. Everything here is entertainment
All content on the Sites is fictional, scripted and staged, and is enhanced with makeup, props, visual effects and artificial intelligence. Fights, injuries, results, records, rankings and storylines are not real. You must read the Content Notice and type “I agree” before entering each Site, and you agree to treat everything on the Sites accordingly.
2. Who can use the Sites
The Sites are private and open only to people the Basement Boxing Club invites. To use them you must be at least 13 years old; if you are under 18 you must have permission from a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these Terms. You must sign in with your own Google account and verify your own Instagram account. One person, one account.
3. Your account
Keep your account to yourself. Do not share it, sell it, lend it or let anybody else use your session, and do not sign in as anybody else. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Membership is a privilege, not a right: we may approve, refuse, suspend, revoke or restore any account, at any time, for any reason or none, including putting the whole club on an emergency hold. Membership is free; nothing on the Sites is for sale.
4. Rules
When you use the Sites you agree not to:
- record, screen-record, screenshot, download, rip, copy, re-upload, stream, broadcast or redistribute any video, photo or other content from the Sites, or help anybody else do so;
- present any BBC content as real fighting, a real injury or a real event, or use it to mislead, harass, bully, threaten or embarrass anybody;
- attempt, imitate or copy any fight, stunt or action you see on the Sites;
- get around, disable or interfere with sign-in, verification, the content agreement, video protection, domain restrictions or any other security or access control;
- scrape, crawl or use bots, scripts or automated tools on the Sites, or put an unreasonable load on them;
- reverse-engineer, probe or test the Sites for weaknesses, or access anything you were not given access to;
- impersonate anybody or misrepresent who you are, including your Instagram account;
- use the Sites for anything unlawful.
Breaking these rules can cost you your account immediately.
5. Who owns what
The Sites and everything on them — videos, photos, posters, graphics, logos, names, text and design — belong to the Basement Boxing Club or the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and other laws. While your account is approved, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to view the Sites in a web browser for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. Nothing else is licensed to you. “Basement Boxing Club”, “BBC”, “BBC Fight Pass” and the BBC logos are ours. See the Copyright page to report a problem.
6. No affiliation
The Basement Boxing Club is an independent production. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the UFC, Zuffa, TKO Group Holdings, any boxing or mixed-martial-arts organization, sanctioning body or broadcaster. Any other names, marks or brands mentioned belong to their owners.
7. Other services
The Sites rely on other companies’ services, including Google (sign-in), Instagram (verification and our social account), Kinescope (video) and Cloudflare (network and security). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Disclaimers
The Sites are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability or accuracy. Content on the Sites is not training, fitness, medical or safety advice. We do not promise that the Sites will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, and we may change, pause or remove any part of them at any time.
9. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Basement Boxing Club and the people who make it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill or profits, arising out of or relating to the Sites or these Terms, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Sites will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (US$50). Some places do not allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Responsibility for your actions
If you break these Terms or the law, or misuse BBC content, and that leads to a claim against the Basement Boxing Club or the people involved in it, you agree to be responsible for that claim and the reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.
11. Ending your access
You can stop using the Sites at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end your access at any time. Sections 1 and 4 through 12 continue to apply after your access ends.
12. Changes and the law that applies
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and important changes may require you to agree again before you enter. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the Basement Boxing Club is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms, the Content Notice and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Sites.
